Q. Why join?

Participants may join the program for a variety of reasons. Some may want to learn more about global startups and AI while making international friends and networks. Others are looking to gain a unique experience for job applications and resume building. Some want to test a social business idea before they build a team and launch a startup.

Q. What are the selection criteria for the Launch_program?

A. Please see our How Does It Work for selection criteria.

Q. I haven’t taken the TOEFL or TOEIC tests. Are they required?

A. No, these tests are not required. However, if you have taken these tests, we ask that you list your scores on the application.

Q. Does Ludus Labs sponsor visas?

A. No. This is a 100% virtual event and does not require international travel at this time.

Q. What is the time commitment to the Launch_program?

A. We encourage you to take advantage of all sessions. However, we understand that participants sometimes have prior obligations. As a commitment to your teammates, we ask you attend the team portions of the programs (about 4 or 5 hours) and final Virtual Congress. Guest lectures, mentor sessions and workshops are optional and will be recorded.

Q. What happens if I can’t fulfill my team commitment?

A. If outside commitments prevent a participant from being able to fully participate with their teammates, Ludus Labs staff members will work with the participant and his/her team to adjust schedules, if possible. If this is not possible, the participant may be asked to consider leaving the program.
